Appointment policy: Sudbury Animal Hospital sees patients by appointment only. We offer a variety of flexible appointment times available during the day and evening as well as Saturday appointments. Need an appointment today? We can often accomodate same day scheduling, so please feel free to call us and we'll let you know what is available and try to accomodate your needs the same day!

 

All dogs must be on a leash, well controlled in the hospital waiting area, outside walking area and parking lot and all cats must be in escape proof carriers or on a leash while on hospital property.

 

Emergencies: We will gladly see any emergency without an appointment during our normal operational hours. Please call ahead to let us know that you are coming, if possible, so we may prepare as much as possible for your arrival. Additional fees will apply for emergency visits. After hours, you may use the area emergency facilities listed on our "Contact" tab under "after hours emergency". The phone numbers are also available on our telephone answering machine after hours.

 

Surgery: Our surgeries are scheduled in advance on Mondays-Fridays. Drop off is between 7:30-8:00 am. All surgical patients must be fasted after 8 pm the night prior to surgery unless otherwise specified. You will receive a reminder call with specific instructions the day before your pet's scheduled procedure. At drop off, you will be required to read and sign the anesthesia/procedure consent form, so please allow a few extra minutes. You must provide a phone number that you can be reached at in case the doctor needs to speak with you while your pet is here with us. A deposit for the cost of the surgery may be required at drop off. Estimates are available and should be requested prior to scheduling your pet's procedure.

 

Payment policy: We require full payment for all services as they are provided. We accept Cash, Personal Checks with i.d., Mastercard and Visa. There is a charge of $25.00 for any returned checks.
